Most designers design in one language at a time.

But a growing number of people now have to design products using more than one language at a time.

Design is about problem solving, so when you introduce more than one langauge, the problem becomes more complex.

Challenges and constraints can lead to innovation and multilingual design often leads to some surprising solutions.

Oisac will look at some of the challenges faced by designers working in a multilingual environment and show some of the simple every day solutions used to present messages in more than one language at a time.

It’s intended as a showcase of the best design or worst design. It’s a look at the methods used to achieve the design.
